LESLI DALABA Lesli Dalaba operates a holistic health
practice in Seattle, and treated many protesters and bystanders who were exposed to gasses and projectiles launched by the Seattle police. Dalaba saw many wounds from projectile weapons, and also noted unusual symptoms in patients exposed to the various gasses released, including the irregular onset of menses, and mental disorientation days after exposure.
DAVID HANAGAN Seattle resident, and a resident of Capitol Hill during the WTO protests of 1999. Videotaped the standoff between police and neighborhood residents that occurred on the night of Dec 1, as police pushed protesters from downtown Seattle into Capitol Hill. Hanagan was injured by a rubber fragmentation grenade tossed into the crowd by
police.
BRIAN DERDOWSKI Former King County Council Member (Republican). Was active around anti-MAI (Multilateral Agreement on Investments) and WTO issues on the King County Council prior to WTO Ministerial. Derdowski circulated widely throughout Seattle during
the WTO protests, trying to diffuse tensions in the wake of the November 30th window breaking and police crack-down. In this capacity, he attempted to
negotiate a resolution to the resident-police standoff on Capitol Hill. Derdowski was injured by a tear gas canister fired into his back by police as they moved on the crowd.
